Alice Rayol holds a Technical Degree in Biotechnology from the Escola Técnica Federal de Química do Rio de Janeiro (1998); a bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2003); a Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences, with emphasis in Immunobiology, from the Instituto de Biofísica Carlos Chagas Filho of the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2006); and Doctor’s degree in Public Policies, Strategy and Development, with emphasis in Innovation, Intellectual Property, Strategy and Development from the College of Economy of the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2021). Her Doctoral Degree thesis entitled “ANALYSIS OF PATENTS AND PUBLICATIONS ON TUBERCULOSIS: subsidies for the national policy on science, technology and innovation in health in Brazil” was nominated to compete for the best thesis of the year in 2022. Alice has been working as a Patent Specialist for over 25 years, with main practice in the Life Sciences area, having published many relevant articles in the field.
