MGA will join the Rio de Janeiro edition of the Trends Brasil Conference 2024 with founding partner Marcelo Goyanes and partner Leticia Carneiro. The event takes place from October 29 to 31 at the EXPO MAG convention center.
Marcelo will be in two panels. The first, at 4:40 p.m. on October 29, will discuss “The Global Challenges of Audiovisual in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” with Marcela Godoy (Assim – Association of Interpreters and Musicians), Mariana Mello (Abramus – Brazilian Association of Music and Arts), and journalist Louise Heine.
In the second panel, on October 31 at 10:00 a.m., Marcelo will discuss the topic “The Challenges of Collective Management in the Age of Streaming and Innovation” alongside Adonis Marcelo (Socinpro – Brazilian Society of Intellectual Rights Administration and Protection), Fábio Geovane (UBC – Brazilian Union of Composers), and Isabel Amorim (ECAD – Central Office for Collection and Distribution).
Partner Leticia Carneiro will give a lecture on October 29 at 11:30 a.m., clarifying “How to Legalize Your Audiovisual Product: Copyright, Including Chain of Title (COT) and Soundtrack.”
