Our partner, Alice Rayol, has just joined the new Standing Committee on Plant Varieties from AIPPI, the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property.
The Standing Committee on Plant Varieties is one of the 26 study groups of AIPPI, and its scope of work includes monitoring, commenting, and advising AIPPI on policies, legal frameworks, and developments related to the legal protection of plant varieties at international, regional, and national levels.
“This Committee brings together some of the brightest minds in the field, and I am eager to collaborate with fellow experts to address the dynamic challenges and opportunities in plant variety protection. This area is increasingly important as we navigate global agricultural advancements and the need for robust legal frameworks to support innovation and sustainability.”
We wish Alice success on the AIPPI’s Standing Committee on Plant Varieties.
